Popular with locals and tourists our Sydney photography workshop will show you that there is more to Sydney than the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Discover and capture harbour parks and laneways of Sydney’s more bohemian inner city eastern suburbs including the historic architectural streets of Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay - on this 3hr practical photography workshop.
Photography Level: Beginner, intermediate. Mirrorless, Micro four thirds, DSLR, Bridge, compact cameras are all fine!
Course duration: 3 hours
Cost: $125
Group size: small groups - max 6 persons

Time: 10.30am - 1.30pm
NOTE: Private photography training around CBD, The Harbour, The Rocks from 1-2 people, families and groups of friends is available - starting from 2 hours (Please email for hourly rate).
Workshop outline: For beginners or enthusiasts, this hands-on half-day photography workshop covers the basic and fundamental techniques of photography using your own digital camera, whilst capturing images of hidden architectural features, Australian flora, colourful Victorian terrace houses, water reflections, portraits and other quirky points of interest along the way. Progress from the auto button mode and make the most of your camera and its functions/buttons by understanding: camera handling, exposure control, depth of field, aperture and shutter speed, design & composition, lighting, colour, framing, leading lines, white balance, ISO settings.
The tour ends in Potts Point 2011 (parking station & train station nearby)
Course suitable for: This fun and informal photography workshop walking tour can be enjoyed by all photographers who want to improve their photographic skills - no matter what level of expertise: beginner or enthusiast (local or tourist); owners of digital compact point and shoot and/or DSLR / Mirrorless cameras. Ideal also for those holiday /travel enthusiastic snappers who want to pick up tips and techniques to add a bit of ‘wow’ to their shots.
